Cimex Inc. Issues Public Advisory on Unauthorized BYD Nepal Platforms

Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, has issued a public advisory regarding the existence of several online platforms that are falsely operating under the name of BYD Nepal.

The company stated that the website bydpromotionnepal.com, the Facebook page “BYD Dealler Fans”, the Telegram group “BYD Promotion”, and other platforms using similar names or representations are not official channels and have not been authorized by Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd.

According to Cimex Inc., these platforms have been misrepresenting themselves as BYD Nepal and are suspected of misleading customers, raising concerns about potential fraudulent activities. The company clarified that it has no affiliation or association with any of the aforementioned entities.

Through the advisory, customers, stakeholders, and the general public have been strongly advised to refrain from engaging with such unauthorized platforms, particularly in matters related to promotions, communications, or financial transactions.

Cimex Inc. emphasized that all official information regarding BYD vehicles, services, offers, and campaigns in Nepal is disseminated exclusively through its verified platforms and authorized dealerships. The company reaffirmed its commitment to customer trust, brand integrity, and consumer safety.

The distributor also confirmed that legal and regulatory actions are currently underway to prevent further misuse of the BYD brand name and to safeguard consumer interests.
